TrakMate allows dealerships on current support to download updates for your TrakMate system. These updates includes program enhancements as well as security and bug fixes. It is recommended you visit this page often to check for new updates. Current program updates are only available to dealerships that are on a current support contract.

Stand-alone Computer Update Instructions:

1. Close TrakMate if it is running.
2. Click "Download tmwv6.exe".
3. Select "Save File to Disk" and click OK.
4. The Save As screen will open. In Save In, select "C:". Double-click on the "Program Files" folder. Next double-click on the "TrakMate" folder. ("TrakMate" should now be showing in the Save In box at the top.)
5. Click "Save".
6. A message box will appear--"C:\Program Files\TrakMate\tmwv6.exe already exists. Do you want to replace it?" Click "Yes".
7. The new executable will now download. Once the download is complete, the update is complete. You may now run the TrakMate program. *Note: In Windows Vista and Later versions of Windows XP, a security message will be displayed the the first time you run TrakMate after downloading the update. Simply indicate that you trust the application and you won't be asked again until the next time that you update.

1. Follow Steps for Stand-alone Computer Instructions.
2. The new TrakMate update will now need to be copied to each computer on the network running the TrakMate system.
3. The file tmwv6.exe, now located in your c:\Program Files\TrakMate folder will need to be copied to the TrakMate (located in the Program Files folder) of each individual work-station.
4. Each time the file is copied, a message box should appear--"C:\Program Files\TrakMate\tmwv6.exe already exists. Do you want to replace it?" Click "Yes".
5. Once you've copied the update to a work-station, the update is complete on that work-station.
6. Once you've copied the update to each work-station, the upgrade is complete. You may now run TrakMate.
